Materials
Forged steel · Hardening wax

8 metres long, 1 metre high. Forged steel.

Made for a project by architect Nicolas Braillon. The house sits in the French countryside – hence a design drawn on natural lines, bringing nature into the interior.

The balustrade is an integral part of the interior, a space whose style highlights the diversity of materials in their raw form. Hence the simple layer of hardening beeswax – protecting the metal while letting its texture speak.
